Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 13, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how FBGrab ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and safeguards information when you use our website and Facebook video downloader (the "Service"). We built FBGrab to be a fast, no-friction tool — we do not require accounts, we do not host user videos, and we keep data collection to the minimum required to operate.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide

The Service works by accepting a public Facebook URL that you paste into the input box. We process that URL only to fetch the associated public metadata and return direct download links to your browser.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our servers automatically receive standard log data such as IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, and timestamps. This data is used for security, abuse prevention and aggregate analytics.

Cookies

We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies to keep the Service working (for example, rate limiting and CSRF protection). We may also use privacy-friendly analytics that do not identify individual users.

2. What we do not collect

  • We do not require you to create an account.
  • We do not store the videos, images or media you download.
  • We do not sell your personal information.
  • We do not access private Facebook content or content behind a login.

3. How we use information

  • To provide and maintain the Service.
  • To detect, prevent and address abuse, fraud or security issues.
  • To comply with legal obligations.
  • To improve performance and reliability.

4. Third-party services

The Service downloads publicly available media from Facebook. Facebook is an independent third party and its handling of your data is governed by its own privacy policy. We may also use third-party infrastructure providers (for example hosting, CDN and analytics providers) that process limited technical data on our behalf.

5. Data retention

Server logs are retained for a limited period for security and troubleshooting, then automatically deleted. Downloaded media itself is streamed to your device and is not retained on our servers.

6. Your rights

Depending on your location (including under the GDPR and CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal information, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Because we do not require accounts, most users have no personal data stored with us beyond transient logs. To make a request, contact us at privacy@mp3snap.click.

7. Children's privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will delete it.

8. Security

We use industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect the information we process. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
